About Me

Jimmy Davis has been a music industry professional for over 20 years with his Dj’ing career beginning in the year 2000 as resident DJ at Brindley Place bar ‘The Cube’ in Birmingham.

Jimmy then went on to study music and forge a career in the industry as a writer and performer, touring and performing across the UK, Ireland and Europe for the last 13 years. Highlights from that period include performing at Glastonbury (on three occasions), standing ovations in one of Ireland’s most famous music venues, and supporting Ed Sheeran at Brixton Academy.

Jimmy and Ed are good friends having met whilst touring with Ed’s favourite band Nizlopi in 2007 when he was just a fifteen year old budding musician. The pair hit it off and Jimmy became somewhat of a mentor for the now global superstar. They remain friends to this day and Jimmy can often be found backstage at one of his many huge shows, jamming with his pal.

DJ’ing has always formed part of Jimmy’s creative practice and he returned to the art form as a professional DJ 6 years ago. Bringing his pedigree as a performer to the dj’ing arena has been a seamless transition and he knows how to both entertain a crowd and host an event in a truly professional and memorable way.

Jimmy is very much a ‘people person’ and aims to deliver an exceptional service to each and every client. Whether it be your wedding, birthday party, prom or any other type of function, Jimmy Davis will work closely with you to ensure that you get exactly what you desire for your special event.
